People are not Happy…

…With my “behavior” at the last department meeting. This is what Miserly has decided to come and “share” with me today. Never mind that the meeting was weeks ago, he is still fomenting over it and wants to make sure that I know how unacceptable it is to present a different opinion.

He is obviously still furious about Doc and I sending the letter to the Provost and cannot seem to move on. When I told him that I did not think much of the select faculty coming to the meeting with a decision about the Interim already made, he said, “If you don’t like it, look for another job!” Doc says Miserly is still pleasant to him… Dislike for uppity women?

What the frack! Let’s not consider that there may be something wrong with their process…

We gotta get out of this place…

Doc and I are planning our exit strategies. The handwriting has been on the wall from early on – tenure faculty are intimidated by new ideas and initiatives and we thought that was what we were hired for? Our mistake….
